Simulated Civ — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Simulated Civ, a web-based society simulator by Simple Design LLC.
1. About Simulated Civ
Simulated Civ is a web-based society simulator operated by Simple Design LLC (“Simple Design,” “we,” “us”). Simulated Civ is a web-based society simulator. The simulation runs in your browser over a deterministic engine, and you can play without creating an account. World seeds and game state are stored locally in your browser rather than in a personal profile on our servers. By using Simulated Civ, you agree to these Terms and to the Simulated Civ Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Simulated Civ.
2. Eligibility
Simulated Civ is intended for all ages. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Licence to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Simulated Civ for your own enjoyment. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app without our written permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Simulated Civ, including by attempting to disrupt or compromise it, reverse-engineer it, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, scrape it at scale, introduce malicious code, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Simulated only — no financial advice
Simulated Civ is provided for entertainment and education. It uses a simulated economy and does not involve real investments or actual financial transactions. Nothing in Simulated Civ is financial, investment, or professional advice, and simulated results should not guide real financial decisions.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Simulated Civ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Design LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Simulated Civ.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the effective date above, and your continued use of Simulated Civ after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
