MetalVault — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

MetalVault is a cross-platform precious-metals marketplace and portfolio app. Trading and the wallet use simulated (paper) balances and a simulated checkout — there are no real funds and no real payments. An account lets you sync your portfolio, post marketplace listings, and receive price alerts.

This Privacy Policy explains what information MetalVault collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is published by Simple Design LLC and is specific to MetalVault; our website privacy policy covers the Simple Design site and client services separately.

2. Information we collect

• Account information. email address and credentials (handled by Supabase) and any profile details you add.
• Marketplace content. listings you create, including descriptions, prices, and photos.
• Portfolio & order activity. your simulated wallet, holdings, paper trades, exchange orders, and order history.
• Device & notifications. push-notification token and basic device and usage data.
• Biometric unlock. Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint.

3. How we use information

• Account information: create and secure your account and sign you in.
• Marketplace content: operate the buy/sell marketplace and show your listings to other users.
• Portfolio & order activity: run your portfolio, profit & loss, and the simulated order flow.
• Device & notifications: send the spot-price and threshold alerts you enable and keep the app stable.
• Biometric unlock: lock and unlock your wallet on your device.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Information that is public

MetalVault is a marketplace, so some information is visible to other users. Listings you publish are visible to other users of the app Your email address and login credentials are never made public.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate MetalVault:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Apple / Google push services — delivering price alerts you enable.
• Precious-metals price provider — live spot prices — receives no personal data.

6. Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we use a device token to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account, listings, and portfolio data until you ask us to delete your account, then remove or anonymize it. Email us to request deletion.

8. Your choices & rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, consistent with applicable law, by emailing simpledesignllcca@gmail.com. You can also delete your account from within the app.

9. Children’s privacy

MetalVault is intended for 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the effective date above.
